New Senior Living Community Scheduled to Open January, 2013

Martinez, CA (May 15, 2012) – Tracy A. McLinn has joined Carlton Senior Living as a retirement counselor for Carlton Plaza Elk Grove, currently under construction at 6915 Elk Grove Boulevard.

Ms. McLinn is responsible for assisting seniors and their families by determining each individual’s long-term care needs and the most appropriate settings for meeting them. She also will build relationships with other professionals and groups serving seniors, maintain high occupancy levels at Carlton Plaza Elk Grove, and assist new residents with the move-in and orientation process into the community.

With over 20 years’ experience in the Sacramento area, Ms. McLinn has a broad understanding of the operations of senior communities. She is a certified residential care facility administrator, having completed the requirements set by the State of California.

Ms. McLinn resides with her husband, daughter and son, in Sacramento.

When complete, Carlton Plaza Elk Grove, a two-story, 110,000-square-foot building, will provide 100 independent or assisted living apartments for seniors in the Sacramento region and will employ more than 75 staff members. Resident will enjoy an elegant lifestyle – filled with activities, and a wide range of amenities and services. San Leandro, CA – Carlton Plaza San Leandro will host a Vintage Fashion Show and High Tea on Thursday, May 10 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. to celebrate Mother’s Day. The community is located at 1000 East 14th Street in San Leandro, California.
Featuring fashions from the 1840s to 1940s, the show is presented by the Goodwill Bags, an auxiliary group of Goodwill Industries of the Greater East Bay.
The fashions are accompanied by music to fit the era and commentary describing the authentic vintage pieces, which are modeled by Goodwill Bags volunteers. Guests will also be treated to high tea and snacks.
Carlton Plaza San Leandro provides active independent and assisted living as well as memory care. It offers an elegant lifestyle – filled with activities, and a wide range of amenities and services. The vintage fashion show is just one example of the many events that actively promote lively social interactions with neighbors and other residents.
